2 Day Sapa Valley

Trek and Homestay

Meet at the Hostel at 7:45pm to leave for the Train Station to catch the soft-sleeper train from Hanoi to Lao Cai, arriving early the next morning.

Met on arrival by the staff of Sapa Pathfinder Travel who will take you to Sapa and offer you a place to freshen up before breakfast.

After breakfast you will meet your guide who will then run through the day’s plan and the condition of the walking tracks.

With mid-morning approaching it is time to leave by Russian Army Jeep or 4WD depending on the size of your group. TheJeep will take you half way down the valley to the village of Ta Van, past most of the other trekkers and the H’mong selling trinkets.

From then you will:

• Trek through along rice paddies,through corn fields, bamboo groves & hemp plantations
• Take a dip in La Vie Waterfall (it can be a little chilly in winter).
• Or relax in the Hot Springs near Ban Ho Village.
• Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese meal prepared by your guide.
• Get liquored on the local Rice Wine.
• Sleep in a traditional Long-House.
• Have a pancake breakfast and then set off on a calf-cracking hike back towards the Jeep.

The Jeep arrives back to Sa Pa in the early afternoon so there is plenty of time for a shower and a few drinks while you appreciate the vistas of Sa Pa.

The overnight train departs Lao Cai before 9pm and will arrive in Hanoi early the next morning.

Return soft-sleeper train ticket, transfers as indicated, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner,breakfast and lunch), 2 day guided trek, Jeep transfers, entree-fees to Sapa and Ban Ho Hot-springs, shoe cleaning on return to Sapa, Home-stay accommodation and luggage storage in Hanoi or Sapa.
